<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet where the aged or a hemiplegic person capable of walking can move or change the direction of the body safely and easily inside the room without accompanying pain such as that is caused when the direction of the body is changed by grasping the handrail fixed to the wall surface. SOLUTION: A turntable (rotating floor) 5 to be rotated by a motor under the floor is disposed in the same level as the floor 3 in front of a toilet 20, and the turntable 5 is provided with a locking groove 11 closely engaging with the locking part 131 at the lower end of the handrail 13. The handrail 13 is made to be detachable from the turntable 5 by engaging or disconnecting the locking part 131 with/from the locking groove 11, so that the handrail 13 can be fitted to the side being at a person's disposal. The turntable 5 is driven by operating a remote control switch 15 disposed on the grip 14 on the handrail 13.</p> |
