INJECTION MOLDING OF STYRENIC RESIN AND MOLDED PRODUCT THEREBY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a styrenic resin molded product good in hue and excellent in practical strength represented by falling wt. strength within a short cooling cycle by injection molding and an injection-molded product. SOLUTION: In a method for the injection molding of a styrenic resin obtained by the polymn. of a styrenic monomer and a mixture of the styrenic monomer and a monomer other than a rubbery monomer copolymerizable with the styrenic monomer, the temp. of the heater provided to the cylinder zone of an injection molding machine is set to temp. higher than that of the zone of a nozzle part in the zone on the side of a resin supply part excepting the zone just under a resin supply hopper. The set temp. of the heater of the zone of this nozzle part is 180-210 deg.C and the set temp. of at least one heater of the zone on the supply part is 220-250 deg.C.
