PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and inexpensively produce a mold for vulcanization of tire, mold segments. SOLUTION: After a narrow channel 45 is formed on the embossing face 30 of each mold segment 28, the outside part in the radial direction of an arc- shaped blade 47 is respectively inserted and fixed in each narrow channel 45 to perform molding. As these channels 45 are formed on the opened embossing face 30, there exists no possibility of damaging the embossing face 30 near the narrow channel 45 and in addition, as the mold segment 28 is a large-sized part, there exists no possibility of deformation by forming the narrow channel 45 and the narrow channel 45 can be easily formed at high speed. |
