PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further simplify a construction and reduce a size so as to reduce a manufacturing cost by installing a holding force limiting mechanism for limiting a webbing holding force of a clamp mechanism in the clamp mechanism so that a load acting on a webbing is not increased to more than a specified value so as to absorb an energy efficiently and securely. SOLUTION: In an emergency of a vehicle, first the intermediate part of a webbing is clamped by a clamp mechanism 8. When a load more than a first specified value acts on the webbing, the webbing is allowed to be pulled out so that an energy is absorbed through a friction. When a load more than a second specified value larger than the first specified value acts on the webbing, a deformed member 6 is held pressingly by the webbing and the shell part of a winding drum 5 in parallel with the energy absorption by the clamp mechanism 8 so as to deform the drum in radially contracting direction for energy absorption. |
