<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently remove rust and substances adhering to the inner face of a water distribution pipeline and clean the inside of the pipeline by promoting the scattering of a polishing material carried by compressed air. SOLUTION: This pipe inside-cleaning method is carried out by supplying polishing members, which are small steel particles, together with compressed air to the inside of a pipe and cleaning the inside with the polishing members carried and transported by the compresses air. The flow rate of the compressed air is controlled to be 30-100 m/sec, the average particle diameter of the polishing members is controlled to be 0.6-1.4 mm, and the supply amount of the polishing members per 1 Nm<3> of compressed air supply is controlled to be 2.0-5.0 kg.</p> |
