PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sensitive recording medium having an excellent printability and impressionability and an excellent water resistance. SOLUTION: In the heat sensitive recording medium comprising a heat sensitive recording layer containing a leuco dye, a colorant and an adhesive on a support; as the adhesive, a water soluble graft copolymer of a polymer containing at least a silicon modified polyvinylalcohol and an ethylenic unsaturated carboxylic acid and a silicone is used. And, a weight ratio of the graft copolymer of the polymer containing the silicon modified polyvinylalcohol and ethylenic unsaturated carboxylic acid to the silicone is set to 1:10 to 10:1. |
