PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the conduction of the reaction heat of a catalyst by the space to prevent the overheating of the engine parts by mounting the catalyst on an exhaust collection part of the exhaust paths of a plurality of cylinders, and extending the catalyst from an upper exhaust path to a lower exhaust path. SOLUTION: A catalyst unit 7 is mounted on an opening edge of an exhaust duct 524 of a cylinder body 52. A mounting plate 72 is projected over the total periphery of an outer peripheral face of a base cylinder 71. By holding this mounting plate 72 by the cylinder body 52 and an inner cover 61, this catalyst unit 7 is air-tightly fixed to the exhaust duct 524. An adiabatic space A is formed between the exhaust duct 524 and the base cylinder 71. 73 is the catalyst for accelerating the oxidation, and filled in the base cylinder 11. The exhaust of the engine is secondarily burned when it is passed through the catalyst, and the exhaust gas is allowed to flow to the exhaust duct 524. |
