<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition capable of forming quick-drying ink film capable of adapting to printing rate of high speed printer of photogravure printing by reacting a specific compound with an epoxy compound and a metal compound. SOLUTION: (A) (i) Anα,β-monoethylenic unsaturated carboxylic acid modified rosin or (ii) a mixture of the component (i) with rosins is reacted with (B) an epoxy compound and (C) a metal compound to provide the objective composition. The component (i) is obtained by adding anα,β-monoethylenic unsaturated carboxylic acid (e.g. fumarica cid) to rosins (e.g. gum rosin) having a structure capable of capable of carrying out addition reaction withα,β- monoethylenic unsaturated carboxylic aid in the molecule. A polyfunctional epoxy compound having two or more epoxy groups in one molecule is preferable as the component B. A polyvalent metal compound is preferable as the component C. The components B and C are preferably used in amounts of 0.2-20 pts.wt. and 5-25 pts.wt., respectively, based on 100 pts.wt. component (i).</p> |
