PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for capturing floating microorganism and powder dust, capable of readily carrying out transfer between sampling places and sampling while changing height position by constituting the capturing apparatus so as to divide into a capturing vessel part and a vacuum pump device. SOLUTION: This apparatus for capturing floating microorganisms and powder dust comprises a portable capturing vessel 5 composed of an inlet of outside air provided in a chamber, a porous body provided in the inlet, a placing and holding part for container such as Petri dish provided at the position capable of receiving outside air inhaled from the inlet, an inlet and outlet port for the container and air-eliminating port of outside air which passed through the placing and holding part, a housing part 3 for the capturing vessel 5, a vacuum pump device composed of a vacuum pump 20 and a control part for vacuum pump 20 and a vacuum hose 23 for connecting air-discharging port for the capturing vessel 5 to the vacuum pump 20 of vacuum pump device.
