PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid to the utmost an adverse effect on a foamed layer by the pressure and heat at the time of injection molding and to integrate a skin material with a base excellently while protecting a design of a product, on the occasion of manufacturing an interior component for a vehicle having a constitution wherein the base constituted of synthetic resin is joined integrally to the rear side of the skin layer having the foamed layer at least and made of synthetic resin. SOLUTION: A base constituting material 19 which has a thin-wall part 26 of a base to be a part of the skin material 15 side in the direction of the thickness of the base and a plurality of support parts 27, 28, 29 and 30 projecting from the thin-wall part 26 and is molded of synthetic resin beforehand is inserted into an injection mold 21, with each of the support parts 27-30 supported by a specified mold part 22 out of a plurality of mold parts 22 and 23 the injection mold 21 has and also with the thin-wall part 26 brought into contact with a skin material 15, and the residual resin molding part of the base except the part occupied by the base constituting material 19 is molded by injecting synthetic resin into a cavity 32 formed between the specified mold part 22 and the base constituting material 19. |
