PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recovering method whereby a phosphor is recovered and reused simply and easily in a high yield and to provide a low-cost phosphor, a photosensitive resin compsn., and a photosensitive element. SOLUTION: A phosphor alone is recovered from a photosensitive resin compsn. contg. an alkali-soluble polymer binder, a photopolymerizable monomer, a photopolymn. initiator, and the phosphor through cleaning steps including an org. solvent cleaning step. The recovered phosphor of the invention is obtd. by this method. The photosensitive compsn. provided is obtd. by compounding the recovered phosphor with an alkali-soluble polymer binder, a photopolymerizable monomer, and a photopolymn. initiator. The photosensitive element provided comprises a substrate film and a photosensitive resin compsn. layer formed thereon from the photosensitive resin compsn.
