PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject processing auxiliary comprising a triple polymer obtained by polymerizing methacrylate ester copolymers, etc., in a specific ratio, capable of improving the processability of vinyl chloride-based resins, eliminating the flow marks of formed sheets or films, reducing the plate-out of components and improving the mold release properties of the sheets. SOLUTION: This processing auxiliary for vinyl chloride-based resins comprises a triple polymer comprising polymers A, B and C. The triple polymer is obtained by polymerizing (a) 60-90 pts.wt. of a monomer comprising 80-100 wt.% of a methacrylate ester and 0-20 wt.% of one or more other monomers to produce the polymer A, polymerizing (b) 5-35 pts.wt. of a monomer comprising 50-100 wt.% of an acrylate ester and 0-50 wt.% of one or more other vinyl monomers in the presence of the polymer A so that the reduced viscosityηsp/c of a singly polymerized polymer is <=2.0, and subsequently polymerizing (c) a monomer comprising 5-20 pts.wt. of a methacrylate ester and 0-50 pts.wt. of one or more vinyl monomers in the presence of the above-obtained polymer B to produce the polymer C. |
