PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amorphous alloy-formed article excellent in strength, thin-walled, and large in area by setting the surface roughness of an inner surface of a die to be in contact with the molten metal to a prescribed value. SOLUTION: A cavity part 13 of a die 1 is not less than 12S, preferably not less than 25S, in surface roughness in terms of JIS expression through sand blasting, grit blasting, liquid honing, shot peeing, etc. A metallic material of the die 1 is >=1×10<2> kcal/m.h. deg.C in the coefficient of thermal conductivity, such as copper, copper alloy and silver. A metallic material to be melted is placed on a metallic material melting part 14 of a lower die 3, and melted with plasma arc to form a molten metal 24. An upper die 2 is lowered, the molten metal 24 is pressed by the upper die and the lower die 3 to be made into the prescribed shape. Because the surface of the cavity part 13 is rough, the molten metal 24 is brought into point-contact with the cavity part 13, and easy to be fluidized. The molten metal 24 is cooled at the speed not less than the critical cooling speed by cooling the die 1.
