PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for a packing cushion made of a corrugated fiberboard or a cardboard, which is easy to manufacture and assemble and has high strength against collapse. SOLUTION: The packing cushion comprises two-directional diagonal reinforcing plates 1, 10 forming an X-shape when viewed from an edge of a parallelopiped provided inside the parallelopipe made of a corrugated fiberboard or a paper board. One of the two-directional diagonal reinforcing plates 1 has a form where a plurality of slits 2 are intermittently provided on a center line of a strip-like plate material, while the other 10 includes a plurality of tabs 4 inserted respectively into the plurality of slits 2. The plurality of tabs 4 are integral with a corrugated fiberboard or a paper board 3 forming an outer periphery of the parallelopiped. After the tabs 4 are inserted into the slits 2 of the strip plate 1, the corrugated fiberboard or the paper board 3 is folded along parallel creases 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, thereby forming the parallelopipe. Since the two-directional diagonal reinforcing plates 1, 10 are attached inside when the parallelopiped is folded to be formed, manufacture and assembly is easy. |
