摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow low-temp. carbon dioxide to freely settle down to a storage depth and to embody deep-see storage and a dissolution method at a low cost of the same extent by releasing the low-temp. carbon dioxide in the foot of large liquid bubbles into the shallow sea based on the notice of the fact that the low-temp. liquid carbon dioxide is heavier than the seawater even in a shallow sea while the deep-sea storage method of carbon dioxide is a promising technique for remedy for the global warming effect making it possible to expect that the isolation period of the carbon dioxide from the atm. attains >=2000 yours of the perpendicular circulation period in the seawater and this method is heretofore considered disadvantageous in comparison with the dissolution method of improving the carbon dioxide to a middle layer in that the feeding of the liquid carbon dioxide deeper than 3500 m at which the storage thereof is possible, is mandatory. SOLUTION: When the low-temp. carbon dioxide of <=-26 deg.C is released in the form of the large liquid bubbles 4 of >=0.7 m in diameter into the shallow sea of a depth 500 to 750 m<3> , the large liquid bubbles covered by an ice layer of a thickness of >=5 cm are increased in the temp. by the heat received from the seawater as the bubbles settle. The low temp. for maintaing the settling power is held until the carbon dioxide reaches the depth 2750 m which is of the same density as the density of the seawater in a thermally equil. state, and finally, the carbon dioxide settles freely down to the storage possible depth.
