<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of letting the retention quantities of consumables such as papers, toner and the like be well visually recognized from the outside, and also of notifying an user of a fact that the retention quantities of consumables are less. SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with a detection means 22 detecting the retention quantities of consumables in the inside of the device, a light irradiating means which irradiates light to the consumables when it is detected by the detection means that the consumables are reduced to the quantities less than the specified quantities, and with a window part 17 through which the retention quantities of the consumbales irradiated by light, can be seen from the outside. Besides, the device is also provided with a detection means detecting a fact that an obstacle has happened in the inside of the device, and with a light irradiation means irradiating light to the obstacle.</p> |
