PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a partition forming material for a PDP capable of obtaining a partition excellent in chemical resistance, mechanical resistance, adhesion property, shape holding property or the like and a producing method of the partition for the PDP in a high yield. SOLUTION: The partition forming material for the plasma display panel is prepared by containing an acrylic resin (A) having a substituted silyl group expressed by a formula, -Si (X)k (R)3-k (R represents a 1-6C alkyl group, a 6-10C aryl group or a 7-10C aralkyl group, X represents a 1-4C alkoxyl group, a 2-6C alkoxyalkoxyl group, hydroxyl group or a halogen atom and (k) represents integers of 0-3), an inorganic material. (B) and an organic solvent (C). And the producing method of the partition for the plasma display panel is comprised by burying the partition forming material in a space between a resin pattern and a resin pattern formed on a substrate, drying and removing the resin patterns to form a pattern formed from the partition forming material and firing. |
