摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a print image from being disturbed or a print sheet from being contaminated by preventing the print sheet from being overlapped with a following print sheet and discharged before ink is not yet dried up. SOLUTION: Print density of each line being printed on a print sheet at an area print density detecting section 70 is detected based on the bit map data of each line. Ink dry-up time is calculated for each line at an ink dry-up time calculating section 76 and elapse of the ink dry-up time is monitored for each line at a monitoring section 78. Printing on a following print sheet is started when the ink dry-up time has elapsed for all lines.
