PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid jet head provided with various functions for controlling liquid jet without increasing the size. SOLUTION: A plurality of heating elements 2 arranged in parallel, a driver 11 therefor, a section 12 for transferring an externally inputted image data to the driver 11, and a sensor 13 for measuring the resistance of the heating elements 2 are mounted on an element substrate 1. Trenches 3a corresponding to respective heating elements 2, a section 17 for driving the sensor 13, and a section 16 for controlling the driving conditions of the heating elements 2 depending on the output from the sensor 13 are arranged on the top plate 3. The element substrate 1 and the top plate 3 are jointed to constitute liquid channels on respective heating elements 2 and the element substrate 1 is connected electrically with the top plate 3 through contact pads 14, 16. |
