PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily/reliably prevent the spread of a fire by becoming a fire spreading medium by burning in an electric wire/cable fire regardless of a newly arranged or existing sheet. SOLUTION: An electric wire and a cable are covered/surrounded with this fireproof sheet 3 obtained by laminating a metallic sheet 2 having a thickness of 15 to 200μm and a laminated rubber sheet 1 having a thickness of 0.2 to 3 mm formed by applying a thermally foaming rubber admixture 1a having an oxygen index not less than 28, generating no halogenated hydrogen gas at buring time and having a foaming degree not less than 4 times to both surfaces of a textile 1b having a thickness of 0.1 to 0.5 mm. Heat radiating property may be enhanced by sticking a flame retardant plastic film having a radiation coefficient not less than 0.5 to the surface of the metallic sheet 2. An ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer rubber admixture is acceptable as the thermally foaming rubber admixture.
