A greening member wherein the side of a block of moss is compressed by binding the block of moss by means of an annular part, a string part connected to the annular part, having at least a through hole at the portion which corresponds to the top or bottom of the block, and formed so that the through hole may be positioned on the top or bottom of the block, at least one binding string provided separately from the string part, and connected to the annular part is provided, the free end of the binding string is passed through the through hole a plurality of times from the top to the bottom of the block or contrariwise, the binding string is then tightened and fixed so that the block is flattened. The feature that moss spreads while forming colonies is thus utilized as main element of the greening member. |
