PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent inadvertent discharge of shower water when an operation button for water discharge is pushed at the time when a shower head is placed on a floor during temporary water stopping in the case where the operation button capable of changing over the operation for water discharge and temporary water stoppage is provided near the shower head of a shower device. SOLUTION: The operation button 1 for water discharge is projectingly provided with a guard part 110 adjacently to the operation button 1. The projection height of this guard part 110 is set equal to the projection height of the operation button 1 at the time of the temporary water stoppage when the operation button 2 is pushed. The inadvertent discharge of the shower water when the operation button 1 for water discharge is pushed at the time the shower head H is placed on the floor is prevented by the guard part 110. Since the guard part 110 is arranged coterminously with only the one side part of the operation button 1 and, therefore, operability is not hindered. Since only the one operation button 1 side is provided with the guard part 110, the discrimination as to which of the operation buttons is for water discharged is easy. |
