The specified desired retardation signal (BAR) is compared with a retardation signal (bi), and depending on this a correction signal (K) is produced, which with the desired retardation signal (BAR) is processed to an output signal (S). The correction signal (K) is maintained constant over one or more time cycles, if the value of the instantaneous retardation signal (b), lies within a specified value range or tolerance band. However the correction signal alters from one time cycle to the next, if the instantaneous retardation lies outside this tolerance band. |
