FIELD: gasoline production. SUBSTANCE: additive contains 0.0005 to 1.0% diethylbicyclopentadienyliron, 0.0005 to 1.0% bicyclopentadienyliron, and aliphatic C<SB>1</SB>-C<SB>5</SB>-ethers pr their mixture with C<SB>1</SB>-C<SB>5</SB>-alcohols (the balance). Additive may also contain aromatic amine or hydrocarbon fraction with boiling range 80-360 C and as well a detergent. Additive is contained in fuel composition (with gasoline) in amounts from 0.5 to 15 wt %. EFFECT: extended fuel assortment and improved environmental safety. 7 cl, 2 tbl
