The launcher consists of a base (21), a support (22) which can be turned in the horizontal plane on the base, and a motor unit (24) driving a tip equipped with a retainer and ejector for a target propeller (1). It has a vertical safety plate (26) fixed to the base to the rear of the motor unit, a hinged counter-plate behind it, and a generator to provide compressed air between the safety plate and target propeller. The compressed air can be produced by a propeller on the tip (40) of a second motor unit (41) lying parallel to the first, or a fan on the safety plate.
