<p>The method involves controlling access to a data field (7) which is intended to be transmitted by a first station towards at least one second station, using a response mechanism in a communication frame within the information transmission network. Associated with the data field there is a semaphore control access mechanism (9). This control access mechanism is loaded with status information relating to the transmission and relating to the initiation of the data field in order to validate, or invalidate, access to this field for use of the field of for its transmission. The semaphore device may take one of four values. A first value indicates that the data field is ready to be transmitted, and a second value indicates that the data field has been transmitted and that the use of the data is possible without risk. A third value indicates that the data field is in the course of being used by the station (8) and not in the course of being transmitted on the network, to invalidate its transmission. A fourth value indicates that the station is attempting to use the data field and that it is in the course of transmission on the network, invalidating its use.</p> |
