<p>A dishwashing detergent and a rinse aid, each including a polyglycol ether emulsifying agent and a silicone surfactant or emulsion, dispersed in an excess of water. The silicone may comprise any one or more of the group comprising organosilicone co-polymers, such as silicone glycol co-polymers, silicone-silicone co-polymers, polyorganosiloxanes and polyorganosilanols. The emulsifying agent is preferably present in any amount of 0.5 to 25 % by weight. The silicone compound is preferably present in an amount of 0.5 to 10 % by weight. A windscreen washing composition, which also provides a coating facilitating rain water run off, has the same basic composition, but relatively lower amounts of the emulsifying agent.</p> |
