The apparatus for testing the nervous system of a person comprises first (11) and second (12) stimulating components for stimulating at least one sense organ of a person. The stimulating components receive stimulating pulsations form a pulse-producing unit (16). An adjustment unit (18) adjusts the time interval between a stimulation pulsation in the first stimulation component and a nearby stimulation pulsation in the second stimulation component. The time interval is continuously adjustable from a negative to a positive value and to a point where the person experiences the stimulation pulses from the first and second components simultaneously. This process is covered by a monitoring unit (20) and a device (22) is incorporated for presenting the time interval to an operator of the apparatus. |
