The invention concerns the use, in detergent compositions for clothes, as colour protecting agent, of an amine silicone associated with a glucamide surfactant. The invention also concerns detergent compositions for washing clothes, comprising an amine silicone and at least a glucamide surfactant. The invention further concerns a method for protecting the colours of textile fibres, in particular cotton, by washing said articles using an aqueous medium containing said detergent compositions.
