The arrangement has a press-operated circuit, a battery (7) and a light bulb (13). The head (17) of the key is inserted into an aperture in a housing and locked. When the circuit is closed the key shaft (18) and the door lock's key opening are illuminated. A housing combined with the key contains a battery and a switching arrangement with which the battery voltage can be applied to the bulb.
