The carrier has two side walls and at least one top plate (4) and base plate (6) mounted between the side walls and with perpendicular edges. An angle strip (12) attached to the cover or base plate parallel to the perpendicular edge has a wider arm and a narrower arm at right angles with a row of threaded holes. The perpendicular edge has its long side in contact with the inside of the wider arm and holes aligned with the threaded holes. The outside of the narrower arm is in contact with the outside of the top or base plate. Connecting devices are arranged along the long edges of the perpendicular edge and the outer edge.
