The shield wall can be pulled out of a case or casing and is made of bulletproof material. It has holding and locking elements to keep the wall (2) taut. The holding and locking element may be in the form of a scissor chain. It may pull out from the underside of the casing (1) and may have a holding-down device (27) at the front edge, which may also have side rollers. There may be telescopic legs (30, 31) on the bottom of the casing.
