Sterilization assembly for containers using low pressure plasma

A process sterilizes a container within an evacuated chamber by means of a low-pressure plasma and a microwave generator. The container is first placed in the chamber and dried by means of microwave emissions at reduced pressure. When dry, the plasma is ignited and the microwave emissions are then terminated. The plasma is maintained by a high-frequency generator.
