Oil-in-water type emulsified compositions containing vitamin A fatty acid esters which are provided with a means for preventing the vitamin A fatty acid esters from oxidation together with a means for preventing the vitamin A fatty acid esters from hydrolysis. These compositions, in which the vitamin A fatty acid esters have been stabilized, are useful particularly as preparations for external use.
