<p>Disclosed is a game monitoring system, in which coded information from the chips used in the game are read and evaluated by an identification device in order to calculate individual transactions. The coded information read is detected in order to determine a corresponding chip value. The game monitoring system comprises a game-monitoring device, which is used for determining overall transactions results in a game by adding play field-related individual transactions taking into account the direction of transaction. On the basis of overall transaction results of all games, the overall earnings of the games can be calculated within a given calculation time frame. The game monitoring system also comprises a chip monitoring device with a chip insertion device for inserting chips, whereby the coded information in said chips is read and the chip values are added to determine an overall transaction sum in an evaluation device. A sum of money corresponding to the overall sum is then payed out through a payment device. This enables central monitoring of the validity and value of the chips circulating during the game on the basis of coded information.</p> |
