<p>An open type electric motor for driving vehicle capable of extending a maintenance circuit, comprising a stator frame (1) storing therein a stator (2), a rotor (3) disposed inside the stator (2), and a fan (11) disposed on a rotating shaft (6) of the rotor (3) and being covered at both axial sides thereof by brackets (7 and 8), respectively, wherein a cooling air inlet (13) is disposed in the bracket (7), a first cooling air exhaust port (14) is disposed in the bracket (7) or rotor frame (1), a second cooling air vent port (15) is disposed in the bracket (8) or rotor frame (1), an annular projected part (17) is formed on the bracket (7) or inner periphery of the rotor frame (1) opposedly to the outside diameter of the fan (11), and the opening part of the first exhaust port (14) is disposed between the projected part (17) and the bracket (7).</p> |
