摘要 <p>A steel for thin sheet having good workability which is significantly improved with respect to the occurrence of surface defect and a method for deoxidation which can be used for preventing nozzle clogging in continuous casting of the steel in a molten state. The steel comprises C: 0.0001 to 0.0030 %, Si: 0.03 wt.% or less, Mn: 0.05 to 0.30 wt.%, P: 0.015 wt.% or less, S: 0.001 to 0.015 wt.%, Al: 0.008 wt.% or less, Ti: 0.02 to 0.08 wt.%, Ca: 0.0005 to 0.0020 wt.% and N: 0.0005 to 0.01 wt.%, and optionally Nb: 0.001 to 0.02 wt.% and B: 0.0001 to 0.0010 wt.%, the residue being Fe and elements from impurities inevitably contaminated. The method is characterized in that it prevents the clogging of a casting nozzle by controlling the composition of non-metallic substances in the steel through the control of the amount of Ca and Al which are added as deoxidizers.</p>
