The holding device is for a vehicle with a floor structure (16) to receive the crates(18), a roof structure (22) and a wall structure (20). Under the roof structure there is a horizontal holding device (24) which can be laid on top of the crates by means of a setting device (26). The holding device has at least one flat frame (28) connected to simultaneously movable linear drives (30) aligned vertically against the wall structure.
