Operation state indicator for self-service terminal

The indicator includes a light (14) and a display (16) which are provided for changing the colour on the floor when a self-service terminal is used. A control unit (17) has at least two operation states which controls the change of the colour on the floor by changing operation states. Preferably, the floor surface areas are different for different colours. A spotlight (14) for several colours is used for changing the colours on the floor. At least one of the colours are caused by the display which is embedded into the floor.
