The device has a wheeled chassis with a connection for attaching it to a motor vehicle. It has a box-shaped structure (2) with at least one side wall (7) the exterior of which holds at least one showcase-type holder (11) for advertising material. The showcase has at least one partly transparent, flap-cover (17) movably mounted in relation to a fixture (16) for the advertising material and supported by a side wall. The showcase is lit by a dimmer switch and has a hydraulically positioned cover.
