The invention relates to a unitary light alloy rim for motor vehicles, which includes a base (1) with an outer and an inner horn (2, 3) and a wheel disc (4) with spokes. The aim of the invention is to design a rim so that its configuration satisfies the user's aesthetics requirements, it is easily modifiable and its weight and cost can be reduced. For this purpose, the wheel disc (4) comprises inserts (8; 9) which together with the outer surface (10) of the wheel disc (4) form a plane or are disposed below said outer surface (10) of the wheel disc (4).
