<p>A trolley (10) includes a transport frame (12) having wheels (14) at one end and a handle (16) at its opposite end. The frame (12) is bent intermediate its ends so that a line from the handle (16) to the bend is angled relative to a line from the wheels (14) to the bend. Trolley (10) also includes a support frame (20) pivoted to the transport frame (12) at axis (22), which coincides with the bend. The support frame (20) is adapted for supporting or carrying a load and provided at opposite ends with ground engageable members (24, 26). Transport frame (12) can pivot relative to the frame (20) about axis (22) in a first direction to a transport position in which the wheels (14) engage the ground so that pulling or pushing on the handle (16) causes the trolley to traverse the ground. Alternatively, the transport frame (12) can be pivoted in the opposite direction to a position where members (24, 26) rest on the ground to immobilize the trolley.</p> |
