The invention relates to a process for producing windscreen wiper blades, especially for vehicles, in which the blades (15) are produced by cutting sections from an endlessly extruded shaped blade strand (3) which are then subjected to a subsequent wet chemical process (4). To make the production of windscreen wiper blades more economical and improve the quality of the blades (15), according to the invention the wet chemical process (4) is performed immediately after extrusion, where the endless shaped blade strand (3) coming from the extruder (1) is taken continuously through the aqueous treatment and drying regions immediately downstream of the extrusion process and the individual wiper blades (15) are cut to length only after the strand has passed through the wet chemical post-treatment (4).
