<p>The present invention relates to a method that comprises deforming tires by compression so as to obtain a compact block which is maintained under tension until an explosion occurs. The explosion is triggered in an eddy chamber arranged in a working body and using an eddy flow rotating about the axis of said chamber. The flow is generated by a guiding apparatus which consists in a plurality of vane rows connected to the walls of the eddy chamber. This invention also relates to a device which comprises a working chamber with loading and unloading units, members for receiving and disintegrating the tires as well as a unit for holding the explosive substance. This device also includes an eddy chamber in the shape of a rotating body having a cross-sectional surface area which increases along the longitudinal axis. The eddy chamber is provided with a guiding apparatus in the shape of vane rows connected to the chamber walls. The eddy chamber is arranged in the body of the working chamber so as to form a compensation chamber in the shape of a gap between their walls. The loading unit comprises a mobile sealing lock with sections for the tires, while the tire reception member is defined by notches which are formed in the upper parts of the vanes in the guiding apparatus so as to define support ridges.</p> |
