<p>A terminal structure for charging equipment in which a charging output terminal is exposed, capable of being used safely even when a line transformer is omitted. The terminal structure comprises a frame member (l) fixed to a casing (9) for the charging equipment, a movable contact member (4) which is fitted and slidingly moved in a hole (2l) provided in the frame member (l), and which contacts a charging terminal of an apparatus (8) to be charged, a plate spring (5) fixed to the frame member (l), a spring member (6) electrically connected to a conductor (4l) of the movable contact member (4) via a coiled spring (2), and a lever member (3) adapted to be turned when the apparatus to be charged is placed on the casing, as the lever member is supported on the frame member (l), by a projection (8l) of the apparatus to be charged, to operate the plate spring (5) and engage the spring member (6), the movable contact (4) which contacts the charging terminal of the apparatus (8) to be charged being shut off from a power source circuit of the charging equipment unless the apparatus (8) to be charged is placed on the casing (9), whereby a line transformer is rendered unnecessary.</p> |
