A number of main panels (1) with a wood grain (7) parallel to two opposite panel edges are fitted together using springs (4, 5) oriented at right angles to each other and mounted in grooves (6) extending around the panel periphery. A first set of springs mounted in the grooves extending at right angles to the wood grain have a length greater than the distance between the groove bases, whilst a second set of springs mounted in the grooves parallel to the wood grain have the same size as the first set of springs and the distance between the groove bases, so that a small expansion region is formed in the bottom of the grooves running parallel to the wood grain. |
