PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aerosol composition which undergoes sagging, etc., along the sprayed surface and can give a cool feeling to the sprayed site for a long time by mixing a specified amount of an aerosol stock solution containing a specified or larger amount of water with a specified amount of an aerosol propellant having a specified or lower boiling point. SOLUTION: There is provided a composition which comprises 5-35 wt.% aerosol stock solution containing at least 50 wt.% water and 65-95 wt.% aerosol propellant having a boiling point of 5 deg.C or below or a mixture thereof with a propellant aid comprising a low-boiling solvent such as isopentane, in which the water-containing stock solution cooled by the heat of vaporization when it is sprayed in foam or mist forms an icy or snowy deposit on the sprayed surface. The water-containing stock solution is prepared from 100 pts.wt. 0-60 wt.% aqueous alcohol solution and 0.01-10 pts.wt. surfactant or silicone oil or 0.1-50 pts.wt. powder such as talc. The propellant used is dichlorodifluoromethane, dimethyl ether, a liquefied petroleum gas, a mixture thereof or the like. |
