PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the overcurrent from flowing in an inverter even when the inverter clock frequency signal to light a fluorescent lamp is frozen to the high level or the low level. SOLUTION: A fluorescent lamp inverter circuit is provided with an inverter IN to supply the power to a fluorescent lamp 2, a triangular wave generation circuit 7 to generate the triangular wave signal of the same frequency by inputting the inverter clock frequency signal 10 to light the fluorescent lamp 2, and a drive circuit 4 to drive the inverter IN by the triangular wave signal. The inverter clock frequency signal 10 is supplied to the triangular wave generation circuit 7 through an AC coupling circuit 13. |
