PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner to be formed in a compact manner and reduce the generation of noise. SOLUTION: One or more propeller fans 1 each having a suction pipe 2 are provided and heat exchangers 3 are arranged in one or more directions of a side situated upper stream from the propeller fan 1, and an electric box 4 having a flow of cooling air is arranged at the internal part of the opposite side of the heat-exchanger 3. In the outside machine of a so formed air conditioner, provided the outside diameter of the propeller fan 1 is D2, and a distance between the tip of the propeller fan 1 and the upper surface of the electric box 4 is (h), arrangement is effected such that a formula of 0.3 less than or equal to h/D2 less than or equal to 0.8 is satisfied. |
