ABNORMALITY DECISION UNIT FOR BURNER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect abnormality (choking) of a burner in the early stage. SOLUTION: A throttle member 5 is disposed in a duct 2 conducting combustion air and a decision is made that an abnormal has occurred when the pressure differenceΔP between the pressure PA in the upstream of the throttle member 5 and the pressure PF at the throat 8 thereof decreases and the PA increases. A decision is then made that a burner is abnormal when the pressure difference (PW-PB) between the pressure PB in a combustion furnace 19 provided with a burner 1 and the pressure PW in the window box 3 of the burner 1 exceeds a set level.
